Trump's Granddaughter Gets Expert Tips from Golf Legend Woods Ahead of Professional Golf First Appearance
The rising star maintains substantial social media presence
Kai Trump will have multiple prominent supporters when she begins her LPGA debut later this week.
This teenage golfer, who is connected to a former US president, obtained a special exemption to play at Florida's Annika event in Florida.
Her grandfather, a passionate golfer, possesses several international courses and frequently plays against his granddaughter.
"He's pretty good. I can't reveal details but we have competitive games," she mentioned.
She mentioned that Trump, who cannot attend, counseled her: "Just don't get nervous."
"My grandpa essentially told me to compete and relax," she added.
"From my perspective, he's just a normal grandpa. He's not attending for the tournament. He's focused on presidential duties, making him somewhat preoccupied."
As an amateur, the golfer has competed in only three events recently and holds position 461 in the American Junior Golf Association rankings.
But she can get advice from Tiger Woods, who is dating her mother.
"He is the top athlete globally," Kai stated.
"Additionally, he's an even better human being. He told me to play, relax, following whatever happens."
The golfer will compete against multiple most prominent players in women's golf at this tournament, featuring second-ranked Nelly Korda, British Charley Hull, Lexi Thompson and last year's winner champion Vu.
The LPGA stated that her participation brings golf to new audiences, particularly among youth audiences.
Kai maintains a massive following and just introduced her own clothing and lifestyle label.
Her first tee time at late afternoon GMT.
