FC Barcelona Set to Play Inaugural Match at Renovated Camp Nou on Saturday
Barcelona have announced they are set to host at the renovated but unfinished Camp Nou over the weekend. The club will host Athletic Bilbao in domestic competition over two years after they moved out so building work could begin.
“We’ve dreamed about the return. Now, it’s here. We’re back home. Back at Spotify Camp Nou.”
Attendance will be limited but 45,401 spectators are permitted inside as per the current authorization. Once fully finished, it will accommodate almost 105,000 spectators, up from the previous 99,000. Barça announced finished work included an updated entryway for the team plus modern locker rooms.
